What each programme covers

Money Explorers (Ages 6-9)

Young children think concretely. Our foundation programme uses physical coins, simple trades, and tangible saving goals to build intuitive understanding. Week by week, children learn to:

• Identify and count British coins and notes accurately
• Understand that items have different values
• Distinguish between needs (essentials) and wants (nice-to-haves)
• Experience the satisfaction of saving toward a goal
• Make simple choices between options
• Begin understanding where money comes from (work, not magic)

Smart Spenders (Ages 10-13)

Pre-teens are ready for more sophisticated concepts. This programme introduces budgeting, consumer awareness, and the psychology of spending. Students develop skills including:

• Creating and managing a realistic budget
• Evaluating whether purchases represent good value
• Recognising advertising techniques and resisting pressure
• Understanding interest — both earned and paid
• Setting medium-term financial goals
• Considering opportunity costs (what else could this money do?)

Future Financiers (Ages 14-18)

Teenagers face imminent financial decisions — part-time jobs, driving lessons, university choices. This programme provides practical preparation for real independence:

• Understanding payslips, tax, and National Insurance
• Navigating student loans and university costs
• Basic investment principles and compound growth
• Credit cards, overdrafts, and debt management
• Renting vs buying — long-term thinking
• Building and protecting credit scores

All prices quoted are per student per 8-week term. Payment is due before the term begins. We offer:
