By accessing this website or enrolling in our programmes, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services.

Description of Services

spectron-code provides financial literacy education programmes for children and young people. Our services include:

  • Group educational sessions for various age groups
  • Family workshops
  • Private tutoring
  • School partnership programmes

Enrolment and Payment

Enrolment Process

Enrolment is subject to availability and acceptance. We reserve the right to refuse enrolment at our discretion. All enrolments for children under 18 must be made by a parent or legal guardian.

Fees and Payment

Programme fees are as stated on our website at the time of enrolment. Payment is due before the start of each term unless otherwise agreed. We accept payment by bank transfer and major credit/debit cards.

Refunds and Cancellations

Full refunds are available if cancellation is made at least 14 days before the programme start date. Cancellations made less than 14 days before the start date may receive a partial refund at our discretion. Once a programme has commenced, no refunds will be given for sessions attended or missed.

Attendance and Conduct

Attendance

Regular attendance is important for learning. If a student cannot attend a session, please notify us as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee make-up sessions for missed classes.

Conduct Standards

We expect all students to:

  • Treat instructors and fellow students with respect
  • Participate constructively in activities and discussions
  • Follow safety guidelines and instructions
  • Refrain from behaviour that disrupts learning

We reserve the right to remove any student whose behaviour is disruptive or inappropriate, without refund.

Parental Responsibilities

Parents and guardians are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate information during enrolment
  • Informing us of any medical conditions, allergies, or special needs
  • Ensuring students arrive on time and are collected promptly
  • Maintaining updated contact information
  • Communicating any concerns to our team

Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and educational materials, is the property of spectron-code and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without our prior written consent.

Website Use

You agree not to:

The safety and wellbeing of children in our care is our highest priority. All staff undergo enhanced DBS checks and regular safeguarding training. We follow established safeguarding procedures and will report any concerns to appropriate authorities as required by law.

Photography and Media

We may occasionally photograph or video sessions for promotional or educational purposes. We will always seek parental consent before capturing or using images of children. You may withdraw consent at any time.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless spectron-code, its directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our services or violation of these terms.

Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the modified terms.

Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Scotland and the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
